Welcome. This blog is a project of reconnecting with forgotten inspirations and passions. It’s my private-public space of figuring out my voice.
It’s about daydreaming, with my fingertips on the map, about future travels, new opportunities and the unknown. But it’s also about being happy living in the moment, in a small town in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, finding differences between this mountain community living and the big city lifestyle I lived back home. It’s about my loves and hates; travels; attempts at writing and at photography; daily endeavors; things that grasp my attention; and ways of experiencing the world around me.
When I was 21, I decided to leave everything I knew behind and look into an unknown to start a new life. I still don’t know how I got here. How I left my city, my home, my family, friends, journalism studies and prospects for this great career. But I know it was a good choice. I moved to a small Canadian mountain town to be with my lovely husband and to discover the unknown, the new opportunities that, I knew, were out there. Even though I miss my roots every day, I am truly happy.
